Where am I? . . . Introduction

"The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance."Aristotle

Have you ever sensed how all the parts of a successful picture are involved with each other? The elements aren’t simply placed side by side, but are interdependent. Somehow it all seems effortless, and what it is about is almost incidental.

Quality of execution is also essential; process is not magic, and I am fascinated by process. How an artwork is created should be just as absorbing as why.

But what is lovingly made for eyes and hearts we can only hint at with words, so no literary pearls of wisdom here. You will find some real pearls, and gold, and amber, and glitter, and glass, and quite a lot of technology.
